Join us for the late-but-better-than-never 11th Season of the Hester Street Fair. Known for starting and supporting many creative pursuits, music and small businesses, we strive to serve the area with a place to max and relax with friends while making new connections and acquisitions in taste, sound, new looks, books and other items to improve your overall well being.
We are delighted to bring you another season of the fair this summer, offering a space to celebrate and be together in ease and creativity despite all that 2020 has thrown at us so far. This year’s events have been adapted to fit NYC’s safety guidelines: Vendors will be 6 ft. apart, our capacity for vendors and visitors has lowered, and we will have multiple hand washing and sanitizing stations throughout the park. Masks are mandatory.
Special Features
The 3-floor curated store that's packed with Vintage, Books, Art & Ephemera, LAAMS, is doing a special popup with us this Saturday! They're bringing over their favorite pieces and will have a special capsule of merchandise by HZ Global, juices by wHUgO, and next to their tent will be Turkish Comfort Cuisine by Turko's Grill.
What’s On The Menu?
Turko’s Grill is a Brooklyn-based family business that has been making Turkish comfort food, all with love, for years and years. Make sure to give them a warm welcome into the fair (first-time at Hester St!) and check out their specialties this Saturday.
Vendor Highlights
EAG Vintage - A staple vintage vendor at our fair, Mother + Daughter duo Elizabeth and Ava bring a pretty fine selection of designer, vintage, and jewelry. On top of that, you can catch some special pieces that have been handed down to them over the years from underground NY artists.
Gestures - Reconnect to nature’s natural healing properties through Gestures, the aromatic, modern day smelling salts. Pick up whichever one best matches your intention + need for the upcoming days.
Hindsight Tees - Art and tees of people and funny things with the hope that someone weird, or unnoticed, or misunderstood might feel at home when they look at Erica Linnemann’s artwork.
Theobucket Vintage - Preserved vintage prints from the mid-late 20th century, specializing in American nostalgia. If you love to get lost in old prints, this is definitely the stop for you.
