Join the Hester Street Fair for Halloween!

Let’s all shop and dance in our favorite costumes, eat candy, and drink spiced cider. We’ll even have vendors on board who are ready to help you out with a last minute costume!

We are delighted to bring you another season of the fair this season, offering a space to celebrate and be together in ease and creativity despite all that 2020 has thrown at us so far. This year’s events have been adapted to fit NYC’s safety guidelines: Vendors will be 6 ft. apart, we’ve lowered our capacity, and we will have multiple hand washing and sanitizing stations throughout the park. Masks and a contactless temperature check at the door are mandatory.

Special Features: A Costume Contest!

How it works: get dressed up and visit us as normal but today you get to do it in full costume! When you get to the entrance, let us know that you want to enter the contest. We’ll take down your contact info and we’ll take a picture of you in your wonderful costume!

Photos will be sent to our panel of judges where they will decide who their vote goes to. We will announce our winner on social media, and the final step is sending you a stuffed up Winner’s Gift Basket!

What’s in the basket? A fully rounded out assortment of goodies from the vendors at our fair including: Tissi (necklace), Copper Cactus (chain mask), Preppy Trendy (shirt and mug), Glitch Bitch (pin), Nick Ursiak (candle), Danny (nut butter), Dreamer’s (jelly beans + snacks), Now Begins (home), Hindsight tees (tote), Silk Slut (gift card), EAG jewelry (face masks), Elemental Bakery (two bakery boxes). We are able to ship out the gift basket or arrange a contactless pickup from our gallery at 22 Ludlow St. at the winner’s convenience.

Panel: Tracy Bailey Jr (Arrngmnt), Dylan Schhulman (Diamante Vintage), Manon (mingmingblingbling), Janine + David (Hester Street Fair), Danny Castaneda (Probablyyourdaddy)

We will also have a portrait station set up inside Hindsight Tee's tent!

Come by for a quick 2-3 minute portrait made on the spot by the artist Erica Linnemann herself.

What’s On The Menu?

Your favorites are all back this Saturday for another cozy & fun edition of the fair. Start off with the home baked empanadas from Beba’s Kitchen, grab a buttery and addictive arepa from Mama’s Arepas who'll be sharing a tent with Danny's Nut Butter, save room for the Jamaican-Jerked tacos from Wah Gwaan NYC, and you can then take home a box from our first-time baker (who is classically trained in the fine art of pastry making) Elemental Bakery

Highlighted Vendors

Glitch Bitch x Nick’s Creative Shop - Two good friends and queer artists Sara and Nick will be sharing a tent this weekend! Check out their table to find some shirts, patches, pins, candles, and more.

Muske - From New York to Los Angeles, Muske provides you with non-toxic, ethically sourced, organic handmade candles and skincare products. Come smell the honey this weekend!

Preppy Trendy - Our OG vendor who champions Sustainable Luxury Fashion Studio is back for another weekend! Her pieces become your essentials that can be worn in any occasion and will represent it’s wearer in the truest form.
