Join us on Saturday, September 18th for our annual Vintage Day. It’s a great time of year to solidify your fall fits and upgrade your wardrobe for cooler nights on the town. Come find us at The Seaport, located at 89 South Street. We’ll make sure to pack out the pier with the most covetable vintage finds you can always expect from Hester Street Fair.
This year’s events have been adapted to fit NYC’s ongoing adaptations with Covid-19. Our tents will remain spaced out, we’ll continue to provide free PPE, and we will encourage our visitors to have a mask on hand for the times when they can not socially distance themselves while shopping from our vendors.
Music by ProbablyYourDaddy and OaklandSlim
Danny Castaneda is a food business owner and DJ hailing from Flatbush, Brooklyn. Utilizing skills learned both in the kitchen and the DJ booth, Castaneda captures the sounds and flavor of Brooklyn with his seamless blending of hip hop, house, reggaeton, and afrobeat.
Vincent Briffa is an Oakland, CA-born, New York-based DJ who has spun across the city over the past four years under the moniker Oakland Slim. As a teenager, Vincent played several instruments including the drums, piano, and bass creating music as a part of several local Bay Area bands. Upon moving to New York, Vincent began working different service industry jobs which led him to the iconic Kinfolk Nightclub & Cafe in Brooklyn. It’s there he found a new outlet for his musical interests and began DJ’ing on a weekly basis. Drawing inspiration from his LatinX roots, residence in Bed-Stuy, and love of Hip-Hop, Oakland Slim's open format sets find a way to get people from different backgrounds dancing together
