Live Podcast - Meet and talk to Wear Many Hats about the journey and hustle of living in NYC

Wear Many Hats is a podcast where we talk about your main gig but mostly your side hustle. That could be you. That can be anyone. Everyone wears many hats. The name was conceived when host Rashad Rastam started his first agency gig in 2015 in New York City. As a Graphic Designer, the Creative Director told him he wore many hats after gifting the team hats from his clothing company, Dahsar. In 2012, Rashad Rastam founded Dahsar, the contemporary whateverwear brand, publication, and creative design studio. In 2018, Rastam created the Wear Many Hats Podcast.

Live Chainstitch Embroidery - Tattoo'd Cloth // Ramell Federick

Tattoo’d Cloth, is a Brooklyn-based chainstitch textile art imprint established in 2018 by NY native, Ramell Frederick. Utilizing a 1920s Singer 114w103 hand-cranked embroidery machine, he can create art as simple as line work, or more complex works. Each piece utilizes one needle & thread to “rope” a design into the fabric. The quickest a single piece takes from start to finish, 1 minute…. The longest so far, 45 hours.

Zine Release - The independent publishing project Spotz by Pete Volker created a call-and-response project for photographers to respond to other photographs and create a visual dialogue. Join Pete for the launch of his latest zine.

Live Screenprinting - Ari Bowe is an artist, musician, and native New Yorker based in Manhattan. She got her start making zines and printing merch for local bands out of her apartment in 2020 and has since kept to a DIY ethos of hand-printed, small-batch production.
