Where are you from? Japan 

When did you move to NY? In 90’s

When did you move to the LES? 2001

What is your first memory of the LES? Having a Caribbean food my friend’s mom cooked in an apartment in Seward Park and thought it was such a cool apartment with original details. 

What is your history with the LES? Moved from Midtown and changed everything. The way I think, do things were very influenced by the LES community here. 

Outside of your business what is your favorite part of the LES? Seward Park.  I love the playground and the soccer field. Feels very normal and human. 

What is your passion? Not sure what my passion is now. I’ll have to ask myself.  Something to help people or to provide things what people need I think. I like seeing people smile and happy. 

What is your motto? Right now : Be truly honest with emotions and feelings so I understand more. It changes as I’m still growing.
