Join us for the late-but-better-than-never 11th Season of the Hester Street Fair. Known for starting and supporting many creative pursuits, music and small businesses, we strive to serve the area with a place to max and relax with friends while making new connections and acquisitions in taste, sound, new looks, books and other items to improve your overall well being.

We have adapted the street fair to fit NYC’s safety guidelines: All vendors will be 6 ft. apart, our capacity for vendors and visitors has lowered, and we will have multiple hand washing and sanitizing stations throughout the park. Masks are mandatory.

Special Features

Design studio LikeMindedObjects launches new circular, climate justice focused pillow collection and business CRCL.EARTH that you can purchase directly at the Hester Street Fair this Saturday, August 22nd. The first batch of these have literally launched last Thursday the 13th via the Hudson River from their production city of Hudson, NY, on the incredible Carbon Neutral Shipping Sailboat, the Schooner Apollonia, to land in NYC this Friday, August 21st! CRCL.EARTH is having a launch presale while the product is floating South, if a New Yorker orders a pillow between now and Friday they can pick up their product dockside in Red Hook Brooklyn or the South Street Seaport Friday! A pre-order comes with an OurTreaty CBD oil and YesFolk Kombucha as well!

What’s on the Menu?

  • Beba’s Kitchen is the baked goods OGs for Hester Street Fair! See their beautiful faces, grab your favorite treats, and now you can try their yummy Focaccia.

  • Empanada Papa is joining us and if you can actually believe it, their empanadas taste even better than last year when they first joined us! Don’t forget to add a side of Yuca Fries to your order either.

  • Macaron Island are the experts on sweets. Feel decadent with their array of flavors, cake pops, and meringue pops! These sweet treats make for great gifts whether it be for yourself or a loved one.

  • Partybus Bakeshop is serving their signature goods as fresh as can be! Their store is located across the street after all, it’s basically as if you’re getting these goodies straight from their oven.

Vendor Highlights - First time vendors at the fair!

  • Brushstrokz - Through the playful nature of watercolors and the hard strokes of pen and pastels, Taylor Gaertner’s vibrant pieces are meant to draw the viewer in and ask why. Aiming to capture the pulse of pop culture, the pieces are topical discussion pieces.

  • Glxy Gal Creations - Marium Majid is a multimedia visual artist vending in NYC with creative outlets that range from henna body art, paintings, street art, jewelry, and most recently chakra charged resin pieces. She hopes to connect and enable others to express themselves and heal collaboratively through her various art forms.

  • Hindsight Tees - Art and tees of people and funny things with the hope that someone weird, or unnoticed, or misunderstood might feel at home when they look at Erica Linnemann’s artwork.

  • Whoa The Universe - Mariah Robertson started off making natural bug spray and is now hand dying T-Shirts, self publishing books, and is bringing Sleeping Giant Glossolalia as a special guest who will be selling records, cassettes, and textiles.
